“Cons - Bed had no top sheet or comforter when we arrived and the front desk seemed like they didn’t believe me when I asked for them. The bottom sheet that was there had pet hair all over it. The carpet had major stains all over it. Things in general were not very clean. The mini fridge did not work and the tv would not bring up any channels. Pros - it was quiet and easy to get to. Ultimately, it was a place to sleep, nothing more. ”

As I said, it was late, so I want to give the office staff the benefit of the doubt regarding his behavior. He seemed impatient with us and didn't want to talk. Normally, they will tell you what your room number is even though it's written down and they will direct you to your room. He did none of that. “Stopped here for a quick night while driving cross country. Easy on and off I-80… older motel, family run, outside looks sketchy but the inside has been nicely maintained. Clean room, comfortable beds, microwave and fridge, close to restaurants. Seemed pricey for what it is. ($80.00). We stayed at comparable places for less. No breakfast , Casey’s truck stop adjacent, coffee and breakfast sandwiches…. ”

“I did not feel safe there. I was not greeted by an employee but by a stranger who offered to take my money and show me to my room. No ice machine, no washer and dryer, if I'd wanted to use them. I had already prepaid or I would have left immediately. All of the food seemed stale so we didn't eat anything. Poured the coffee but didn't drink it because it had grounds in it. Only good thing about this property was there wasn't much else around, it was right off the highway, and I saw no sign of...

“Nice, clean room, very convenient to Windmill and restaurants. Check in by code was simple. Some patching had been done on sink and tub but was well done. Only complaint from my husband was that the water pressure in the shower was too intense to where it was irritating. He suggests a bigger showerhead.”
